Whisky & Spice Music Food & Drink Events

One of Whisky & Spice Music’s core initiatives is bringing artists and audiences together over food and drinks. We routinely host special events to promote our sponsored artists and use the opportunity to showcase music and meals that delight and enchant our guests.

W&S Music finances the costs for these events – including catering and space rentals – and organizes and manages invitations.

We source intimate spaces where guests can enjoy live performances from W&S Music’s sponsored artists along with a curated menu of premium alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages paired with high quality food.

Many of our special events are invitation-only. To join our guest list and receive invitations to future events, please sign up for the Whisky & Spice Music mailing list at the top-right corner of our website.

Examples of past events include:

W&S Music and KayGeni Indigo Launch Party

On August 25, 2018, W&S Music sponsored a co-launch party at The VandenBerg House in Toronto’s trendy Leslieville neighbourhood.

The VandenBerg House accommodates approximately 50 people for cocktail parties, which makes it ideal for intimate special events. With complimentary food and drinks for our guests, we took advantage of the beautiful venue to create a truly memorable evening.

W&S Music founder and certified scotch whisky ambassador Dan Gordon curated two premium scotch whiskies for the event and guest sommelier Jeffery Williams selected two Spanish wines for tasting. Guests were also invited to enjoy local craft beers and premium tequilas.

While each drink could be sipped on its own, many guests chose to pair their drinks with the complimentary soft taco bar, offering chicken, beef, and vegetarian options.

KayGeni filled the room with a one hour set, showcasing her new EP, Indigo.

KayGeni’s “My Bahamian Table” at The Depanneur

To further promote KayGeni’s new EP, Indigo, we hosted a sponsored supper club on October 20, 1018 at The Depanneur in Toronto’s west end.

KayGeni shared a tasty and ambitious menu of nine of her favourite dishes from her native Bahamas.

Whisky & Spice Music gifted one of KayGeni’s USB Music Box’s – a $25 value – to each supper club guest, and KayGeni played a short set that captivated the room.
